PATSOS GORGE

Day activity:
The Patsos Gorge is situated south of the city of Rethymnon. The first lower part of the gorge will entail walking through some water. A breathtaking view over the whole gorge can be admired from half way up on a higher plateau. From this point a walk to the place of Giorgos the shepherd, who will prepare a BBQ. In the months of May and June the water level in some parts of the gorge can be chest high, therefore you need equipment for a safe journey through. The walking time of the trip is about 4 hours, including stops. At the end of the gorge the bus will be waiting for the return to the hotel.
