Day 1: Flight to Athens
Arrival at the airport of Athens where you meet your guide and are transferred to your hotel. After room allocation you all meet for a welcoming cocktail and to go over your schedule for the next few days.

Day 2: Akropolis & the National Museum
Your day begins with a visit to the famous Acropolis and the monuments of the Propylea, the Nike Temple, the Parthenon and the Erechtheion. You can then take a walk through the Agora, the centre of the ancient city. From here you continue to the National Museum for a tour of the most important collection of ancient Greek art. You then return to your hotel and have the rest of the free to enjoy as you like. We highly recommend a visit to the beautiful Plaka.

Day 3: Dionysos-Theater, Acrocorinth und Mycenae. (approx.160 km)
After a short city tour of Athens you visit the Dionysos Theatre and continue along the Saronic Gulf, over the Corinthian Channel to Acrocorinth to visit the Apollo Temple. Next stop the famous Mycenae with the Akropolis, the Lion Gate, the Cyclopean Wall, the Royal Tombs and the Treasury of Atreus. A bit further and you arrive at your Hotel in the picturesque port town of Nafplion.

Day 4: Epidavros (approx.180 km)
Today you travel through beautiful scenery to the ancient Epidavros where you visit the Temple area of. the demigod of Healing, Asklepios and the famous Theatre. You then return to Nafplion and depart in the afternoon for Sparti passing Tripolis and the mountainous area of the Peloponnesus.

Day 5: From Mistras to Olympia. (approx. 190 km)
Your excursion begins at the Byzantine mountain village of Mistras where you visit the Pantanassa Monastery. In the afternoon you travel through the Langada Gorge over Mt Taygetos with the many springs to Kalamata. Along the west coast by the Ioanian Sea you reach Olympia.

Day 6: Ancient Olympia. (approx. 240 km)
Today you visit the sacred holt of Zeus in Olympia with the great Zeus Temple, one of the Seven Wonders, the ancient Olympic Stadium and the Museum. In the afternoon you depart for Patras and get the ferry over to mainland Greece. From Nafpaktos you travel along the coast line to Delphi and the mountain village of Arachova. Overnight stay in Arachova.

Day 7: Delphi and the Monastery of Ossios Loucas. (approx. 200 km)
You visit Delphi and the Museum with the famous bronze statue of the Charioteer. After a tour of the ancient sanctuary with the Tholos, the Apollo Temple, the Theatre and the Stadion you travel through the Parnassos mountain range to the Monastery of Osios Loucas with the unique Byzantine mosaics. From here you continue to your hotel in Athens.

Day 8: Flight home
Transfer to the airport of Athens. Upon request you can extend your holiday.
